Food hygiene training at SCE Enterprise
A REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene course recently took place at SCE Enterprise with candidates attending from Makro Cash & Carry, Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport and Fenton Barns (Scotland) Ltd. This 3½ day course is designed to provide managers and supervisors working in catering, food service and production with an understanding of the relationship between food hygiene, food poisoning and food spoilage, the socio-economic costs of poor food hygiene and the role of HACCP and hazard analysis in ensuring food safety.
Nick Scott from Fenton Barns (Scotland) said, "Our candidates fully enjoyed the course at SCE Enterprise and have returned keen to maintain and improve our already strict hygiene controls for our quality cooked meats."
SCE Enterprise delivers food hygiene training to a range of organisations and, in the last year, over 400 delegates have completed their food hygiene training with us. Our range of courses is constantly expanding to meet the needs of businesses and the standards set by REHIS and the Food Standards Agency.
