Give your business a training boost with Flexible Training Opportunities from Skills Development Scotland.

The eligibility criteria for Flexible Training Opportunities, available from Skills Development Scotland (SDS), have been extended and mean it will be simpler to get up to £5,000 funding for your workforce's development. The updates are as follows:

businesses with up to 150 employees can apply
10 episodes of training are permitted per business
up to 10 separate applications can be submitted.
Non-legislative management is now eligible

The benefits of training are invaluable, for both businesses and employees - and SDS can now make it more affordable by meeting you halfway. SDS will refund you 50% of the cost of up to 10 training courses - worth up to £500 per course.

So if the training costs £1200, we will refund £500. If it costs £300, we will refund £150 - it effectively means you could double your training investment. Anyone from sole traders to businesses with fewer than 150 employees can apply for up to £5000 towards training costs. So find out more today.
