Digital Photography
Aim
This course will give the candidate a basic understanding of digital photography using Photoshop Elements. There will also be session based around how to take a digital image and gain a better understanding of exposure control and composition
Objectives
•1) Operate digital cameras
•2) Demonstrate understanding of factors affecting exposure
•3) Import and export image files
•4) Edit images digitally
•5) Save and burn finished images to CD
Course Content
Lectures on image formation, exposure, depth of field, composition, digital processing and editing.
Assessment
6 images which are printed to a satisfactory standard
