Digital Audio Skills
Aim
The Digital Audio Skills course will help you if you are you a performer, bedroom producer, DJ or composer who is interested in enhancing their computer based composing skills?
Objectives
You will learn how to utilise packages such as Pro Tools, Logic, GarageBand to break music down and build it back up. The course is taught in our Mac Suite that is kitted out with midi keyboards, monitor speakers, individual external sound cards and all other equipment required to create a unique digital sound.
Course Content
This course will include the following activities:
- Beats and patterns in music
- Midi and sequencing
- Effects
- Synthesis and sampling
- Digial mixing and editing
