Creative Writing
Aim
So you want to write. You've had a notion to write for some time but you aren't quite sure where to start.
Or perhaps have tried a few bits and pieces yourself, but you're not sure if they're any good?
Objectives
The course will be tailored to suit the needs and interests of the group, covering prose, poetry, and/or drama.
Course Content
8 sessions will focus on an important aspect of writing, such as character or setting. We will use examples from successful writers as a starting point.
The other 2 sessions will be workshops where students can read and discuss their work in a friendly, supportive environment.
Assessment
There is no formal assessment.
