BIIAB’s parent company, BII, is a registered charity whose remit is to raise professional standards across the sector. BII achieves this in a number of ways, including the development and awarding of qualifications specifically for the sector and available through BIIAB.

BIIAB develops and regularly updates all of its qualifications by involving key stakeholders such as the police, national and local government, licensed retailers and licensing authorities. This ensures they are absolutely accurate from a legal and practice perspective.

BIIAB is accredited by Ofqual and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

SCE Enterprise is approved to deliver the following BIIAB qualifications:
